Iran story exposes incompetence, unprofessionalism and bias of the BBC

As events in Iran evolve, it is clearly apparent to all interested observers how the mainstream media has adopted a two-tier reporting agenda that parallels the United Kingdom’s police and judiciary’s two-tier justice. Unprofessional, incompetent, and biased have been the hallmarks of the most prominent media brands for decades concentrating on diluting conservative and Judaea – Christian values and giving saturation attention demonizing the Jewish State of Israel, and Donald Trump. Over the last decade, a developed agenda has expanded to include promoting trans rights, multiculturalism, Islamic values, and climate change. All these topics have been overwhelmingly encouraged and facilitated by those with most influence within mainstream media channels which has been dominated by ‘progressive’ activists.
Nevertheless, more recently there has been an encouraging challenge from new media alternative outlets who are winning audiences and seem to be heading on an upward trajectory.
The Iran story has exposed yet again the incompetence, unprofessionalism and bias of the BBC and others given their refusal to cover this major geopolitical event until well into the second week of the popular uprising. Having been forced, reluctantly to comment in any detail or depth, they then reported and continue to report from a view that facilitated the propaganda perpetrated by the totalitarian theocrats struggling to retain power by committing atrocities on those demanding change. I for one was not perplexed by such reporting. In fact, I expected nothing less from the BBC given how eagerly they reported, without challenge the Hamas propaganda during the recent Gaza war.
Regarding Iran, BBC continue to use the term economic protests despite mosques being burned down and statues and memorials to the Ayatollahs and IRGC hierarchy being destroyed. What may have started as economic dissatisfaction has morphed into something far more aggressive and deeper, nothing less than an anti-Islamic uprising. The BBC have refused to recognize this, so embedded are they in preserving extremist Islamic values enforced by their organizational structure and unwillingness to be impartial.
The silence of the anti-Israeli media and parliamentarians, academia, university students, the political left, celebrities and sports personalities, trade unions etc., has been deafening. No outrage, no protests, no banner waving – absolutely nothing at all. Surely our Muslim parliamentarians are outraged at the anti-Islamic Iranians? They don’t seem concerned one iota. Perhaps they only vent their Muslim spleens when Jews can be targeted.
And here we can validate what the silent majority and the morally decent already know. The cowards on the left, the virtue signalers, the Islamists, the woke media, the Qatari funded colleges, universities, and lecturers – the usual cohorts, the same mob that would be calling for the execution of Dreyfus if he were on trial today, have only one agenda. And that agenda is the demonization of Israel triggered by virulent Jew hate.
As at the time of writing, Iran stands on a knife edge. Trump would rather see regime change from within rather than US military action which may yet still occur. It is difficult to see the survival of the Shia theocrats given the scale of the uprising but maybe I am wishful thinking. What is clear however is that since the trauma of October 7, Iran’s defenses and their proxy attack forces – Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis have been weakened to a level from which any recovery will take years. And their sponsor Iran is at its weakest point for decades. Regime change is a real possibility and Trump and Netanyahu understand this opportunity must be used to advance their objectives.
Moreover, with the fall of the Assad and the Maduro regimes, and Russia’s loss of influence in the region, has irreparably damaged the anti-Israel bloc. Should Iran fall the geopolitical map would have changed to a level beyond the dreams of the most rabid Zionists within two and a half years. Who would have believed that barely two years after the tragic event of October 7, the perpetrators and their support could have lost so much influence and power?
