Just hours after a controversial debate between Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump on ABC – which has already been labeled as “staged” – a second assassination attempt on Trump was foiled by members of the US Secret Service.
Meanwhile, media reports claim that as Donald Trump has continuously warned, the Biden-Harris administration has brought the world to the brink of nuclear war. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is reportedly set to announce that Ukraine has been given the go-ahead to strike deep inside Russia using Western-made Storm Shadow missiles. Military experts predict that such actions could inflict significant damage on Russian targets, while Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that any such move “would mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries, are at war with Russia. And if that’s the case, we will make appropriate decisions in response to these threats”.
Reports suggest that Blinken concluded a three-day Ukraine-focused European tour with a stop in Poland after receiving repeated requests from Ukrainian officials to use Western-supplied weaponry for long-range strikes on Russian soil. Blinken visited Warsaw after a day in Kyiv, alongside British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, where they pledged to present Ukraine’s requests to their respective governments.
Blinken stated, “We went to Kyiv to underscore our united and unwavering support for Ukraine in the face of ongoing Russian aggression. The United States, the United Kingdom, and many other nations stand committed not just to helping Ukraine repel this aggression, but also to ensuring Ukraine’s long-term success, both militarily and economically, as a strong democratic nation”.
Grzegorz Braun, a Polish member of the European Parliament, criticized Blinken’s stance: “Blinken, go home. We don’t want you here. We don’t want Polish people paying and dying for your wars”.
In the UK, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he had “productive” talks with Joe Biden about Ukraine but did not provide any details on whether Kyiv would be permitted to launch long-range strikes on Russia. Starmer noted that the discussions focused more on “strategy” than specific “tactics”.
The White House reported that the two leaders also expressed “deep concern about Iran and North Korea’s provision of lethal weapons to Russia”.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia had launched over 70 Iranian-made drones across Ukraine overnight. He emphasized that his country urgently needed more air defense and long-range capabilities “to protect lives and our people”.
Mark Cancian, a military analyst at the Center for Strategic and Institutional Studies, told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty: “I expect an announcement soon about relaxing restrictions on long-range strikes. There’s been a tremendous buildup, and it would be hard to reverse course now. The US and the UK are likely ironing out the conditions, particularly the target sets, to limit strikes to military objectives and avoid civilian casualties”.
The most likely targets, Cancian said, would include airfields, logistics hubs, depots, and headquarters.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also joined in the discussions, endorsing Ukraine’s right to strike deep inside Russia, despite Moscow’s warning that this could draw Canada and its allies into direct war. “Canada fully supports Ukraine’s use of long-range weaponry to prevent and disrupt Russia’s ability to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure and harm civilians in their unjust war”, Trudeau told reporters.
In essence, Democrats are accused of pushing for a nuclear war to divert public attention and influence the November 5 elections. Some critics, including conspiracy theorists, suggest that former President Barack Obama is the one truly running the White House behind the scenes, with Joe Biden as a figurehead. They speculate that Obama is preparing to replace Biden with Kamala Harris, a longtime ally of Obama and financier George Soros.
In an opinion editorial following the failed assassination attempt on Trump, the New York Post’s Miranda Devine criticized the media, stating that Democrats and legacy media “in Orwellian fashion” accuse Trump and his supporters of inciting violence, while evidence suggests otherwise.
Elon Musk also condemned Democrats and the media, saying, “The incitement to hatred and violence against President Trump by the media and leading Democrats needs to stop”.
Meanwhile, Facebook swiftly removed the profile of Ryan Wesley Routh, the alleged would-be assassin. Some have questioned whether Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was attempting to conceal something, given the rapid deletion of Routh’s page.
Just 30 minutes after the assassination attempt, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, the top Democrat in the House, commented, “Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025. We must stop them”.
Trump’s former intelligence chief, Richard Grenell, issued a stark warning: “Do you realize that if Donald Trump is assassinated, our country will be torn apart? I fear for America with these tactics. Your language is radical and dangerous. For the sake of our country, stop”.
In response to the assassination attempt, Trump reiterated his strong stance on border security, stating:
“Allowing millions of people from unknown places to invade and take over our country is an unforgivable sin. OUR BORDERS MUST BE CLOSED, AND THE TERRORISTS, CRIMINALS, AND MENTALLY INSANE MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FROM AMERICAN CITIES AND TOWNS, AND DEPORTED BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN. WE WANT PEOPLE TO COME INTO OUR COUNTRY, BUT THEY MUST LOVE OUR NATION AND COME IN LEGALLY AND THROUGH A SYSTEM OF MERIT. THE WORLD IS LAUGHING AT US, STEALING OUR JOBS AND OUR WEALTH. WE CANNOT LET THEM LAUGH ANY LONGER. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
What fate awaits the United States and the world if Barack Obama and the Democrats succeed in pushing the world to the brink of nuclear war? Are they truly intent on destroying the world, and if so, how can we prevent such a catastrophe?
As the world teeters on the edge of a potential global conflict, fueled by rising tensions and political maneuvering, the stakes have never been higher. The actions of world leaders in the coming months could determine the fate of millions, if not billions. While Democrats are accused of exploiting these tensions for political gain, the threat of nuclear war looms large, and the consequences could be catastrophic. In this dangerous game of power, one can only hope that reason prevails before it’s too late – and that the leaders of today consider the lasting impact of their decisions on future generations.
