BCECEB released exam calendar, Diploma entrance exam on June 24 and 25, know when other exams will be held

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the dates for various entrance competitive exams. Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) 2023 will be held on 24 and 25 June. Its admit card will be issued on June 14. Admission will be done in Polytechnic (Engineering), Para Medical (Inter Level), Para Medical (Secondary Level) under DCECE. For this, students can apply till May 22. Correction in the application can be done from 24 to 25 May. The exam for Polytechnic Engineering (PE) will be held on June 24 and the entrance exam for Para Medical (PMM) Secondary Level Group and Para Medical (PM) Inter Level course will be held on June 25. Nomination will be done on these seats

Admission will be done in Diploma in Pharmacy, Sanitary Inspector, Ophthalmic Assistant, OT Assistant, Laboratory Technician, X-Ray Technician, Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistant, GNM, ANM, Dental Mechanics, Dental Hygienist courses in Para Medical (Inter-Level) courses. At the same time, admission will be done on 690 seats in Dresser Course under Para Medical (Secondary Level). Admission will be done on 15,535 seats of Polytechnic. Admission will be done on 300 seats of Diploma in Pharmacy. After this, admission will be done for 2495 seats in Sanitary Inspector, Ophthalmic Assistant, OT Assistant, Laboratory Technician, X-Ray Technician, Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistant, Dental Mechanics, Dental Hygienist course.

ITICAT on 18th June

ITI Competitive Entrance Test (ITI CAT) for admission in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) will be held on June 18. Students can apply till May 21 for admission to 32,396 seats in more than 111 ITIs of the state. Correction in the application form can be done from 22 to 23 May.

Entrance test for admission in lateral entry on June 18

BCECEB has released the date of entrance examination for admission in second year under lateral entry in government and polytechnic institutes. The Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination (Lateral Entry) for 1406 seats will be held on June 18. The admit card will be issued on June 10. The last date of application is 22 May. Correction in the application can be done from 24 to 25 May.

Entrance test for admission in B.Tech under lateral entry on June 24

Under Lateral Entry, successful students of BCECEB’s Three Year Engineering Diploma, Two Year Para Medical and Two Year Pharmacy Diploma courses can take admission in the second year of B.Tech, Bachelor Para Medical and Bachelor Pharmacy degree. The entrance exam for this will be held on June 24. Applications can be made till May 23. Correction in the application can be done from 25 to 26 May. In this, admission will be done on 1087 B.Tech seats in 38 government colleges, nine B.Tech seats in LNMU and 54 B.Tech seats in private. There, there are 40 seats under Para Medical and 20 seats under Pharmacy.

This is how questions will be asked in DCECE 2023

For Admission in Polytechnic: The exam for polytechnic admission will be of two hours and 15 minutes. In this, 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be asked. One question will be of five marks i.e. there will be total 90 questions of 450 marks.

For admission to Para Medical (PM): For Para Medical (Intermediate Level-PM), 90 questions will be asked for 450 marks. In this, General Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) will have 25 questions for 125 marks, Arithmetic Ability 15 questions for 75 marks, Hindi 15 questions for 75 marks, English 15 questions for 75 marks and General Awareness 20 questions for 100 marks. Questions will be asked. Two hours 15 minutes will be given for the exam.

For admission to Para Medical (PMM): In Para Medical (Secondary Level-PMM), 90 questions will be asked for 450 marks. In this, Physics will have 20 questions for 100 marks, Chemistry 20 questions for 100 marks, Mathematics 10 questions for 50 marks, Biology 10 questions for 50 marks, Hindi 10 questions for 50 marks, English 10 questions for 50 marks, 10 questions of 50 marks will be asked from General Knowledge. Two hours and 15 minutes will be given for this.

For Admission in ITI: For admission in ITI, 150 questions of 300 marks will be asked. In this, 50-50 questions will be asked from Mathematics, General Science and General Knowledge. The questions will be of intermediate level.
