CBSE Class 10 Results 2023: Passing Criteria
As per the board’s guidelines, students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks in 5 or more subjects to pass in the CBSE 10th result. This 33 percent includes either 5 core subjects or 4 subjects and 1 optional subject. Also, 33 percent marks include both internal marks and performance in the written test. In other words, he has to obtain a total of 33 marks out of 100. So if he has secured 20 marks in internal, he will need 13 marks in written examination to qualify the exam.
