Now taking a big decision, China has decided to give permission to unmarried women to give birth to children. Along with this, new rules are also being made to encourage people to have children.
Recently, the United Nations had announced that China lags behind India in terms of population. Anyway, the population of China is decreasing rapidly and the number of old people in the country is also increasing. Chinese people are reluctant to have children because of the cost of marriage and child-rearing. In such a situation, the Chinese government is worried about the reduction in its workforce. This is the reason why the Chinese government has started encouraging people to have children. Now China is going to make another new rule, under which unmarried women will not only be able to give birth to children, but can also get legal treatment in case of any medical problem.
In China’s Sichuan province, unmarried women have been allowed to have children. Now the Chinese government is preparing to give it legal recognition in the whole country. At the same time, the Chinese government is preparing to provide maternity leave for unmarried women when they become pregnant, subsidies for having children, as well as allowing invitrofertilization (IVF) treatment. It is believed that if the Chinese government gives legal status to IVF treatment for unmarried women as well, then such unmarried women who do not wish to marry will also be able to become mothers.
