A bus accident involving Trinamool workers returning from Kolkata from Trinamool’s Martyr’s meeting took place in Krishnapur area adjacent to Chowringhee under Kharagpur rural police station of West Bengal. The bus overturned after getting down from the road, during which one Trinamool worker was killed and more than 50 Trinamool workers were injured. According to information received from police sources, the name of the deceased was Vikas Tudu (28). He was a resident of Bandwan area of Purulia district.

Soumoshankar Sarangi, Chief Health Officer of Paschim Medinipur district, told that one youth has died and one person has been badly injured.
