In this regard, a list was issued by the Congress, in which the names of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot are visible. In the list issued by the party, 29 names are visible. A total of 29 members including Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Jitendra Singh, Sachin Pilot, Raghuveer Meena, Rameshwar Dudi, Mohan Prakash, Raghu Sharma, Harish Chowdhary, Lalchand Kataria, Mahendra Jeet Malviya have been made in the committee.

Meanwhile, Govind Singh Dotasara, president of the Rajasthan unit of the Congress and the chairman appointed for the election, accused the opposition BJP leaders of trying to create such an atmosphere in the election year that crime and corruption are on the rise in the state and the Congress government is not capable of providing good governance. Govind Singh Dotasara’s attack on BJP
Govind Singh Dotasara said that party leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda are never seen answering about demonetisation, doubling the income of farmers, three agricultural laws, ending corruption. They (BJP) never talk about their promises and make unrestrained statements bashing the Congress and its governments. He said that I want to challenge the BJP leaders to compare the election manifestos of the central and previous state governments. Nine percent of the promises made by the BJP in the election manifestos of 2014 and 2019 have not been fulfilled till date, while the present Congress government in the state has fulfilled 94 percent of its promises.

If we look at the 2018 assembly elections, the ruling party BJP lost the elections and Congress came to power. Congress emerged as the single largest party by winning 100 seats. BJP was reduced to just 73 seats. 16 BJP ministers had to face defeat in the 2018 elections. Not only this, 94 MLAs were given tickets again. Of these, 54 had to face defeat. The BJP had re-nominated 94 out of 163 MLAs in the 2018 elections. Out of these only 40 were able to save their seats.
