Assembly elections are going to be held in Rajasthan this year. Before this, the Congress has geared up. On Thursday, the Congress formed an election committee in which Govind Singh Dotasara was appointed as the chairman. In this regard, a list was issued by the Congress, in which the names of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot are visible. In the list issued by the party, 29 names are visible. A total of 29 members including Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Jitendra Singh, Sachin Pilot, Raghuveer Meena, Rameshwar Dudi, Mohan Prakash, Raghu Sharma, Harish Chowdhary, Lalchand Kataria, Mahendra Jeet Malviya have been made in the committee.

Let us tell you that the Congress has put an end to the ongoing crisis in Rajasthan. After this, the party said that it will not enter the election field in the state with the CM face. Along with this, the leaders were advised that whatever may be the matter, it should be kept in the party form. No leader should take the matter of the party anywhere other than this.

Gehlot government fulfilled 94 percent of its election promises

Meanwhile, Govind Singh Dotasara, president of the Rajasthan unit of the Congress and the chairman appointed for the election, accused the opposition BJP leaders of trying to create such an atmosphere in the election year that crime and corruption are on the rise in the state and the Congress government is not capable of providing good governance. Dotasara claimed that the present Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has fulfilled 94 percent of its election promises.

Govind Singh Dotasara’s attack on BJP

Govind Singh Dotasara said that party leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda are never seen answering about demonetisation, doubling the income of farmers, three agricultural laws, ending corruption. They (BJP) never talk about their promises and make unrestrained statements bashing the Congress and its governments. He said that I want to challenge the BJP leaders to compare the election manifestos of the central and previous state governments. Nine percent of the promises made by the BJP in the election manifestos of 2014 and 2019 have not been fulfilled till date, while the present Congress government in the state has fulfilled 94 percent of its promises.

A look at the 2018 election

If we look at the 2018 assembly elections, the ruling party BJP lost the elections and Congress came to power. Congress emerged as the single largest party by winning 100 seats. BJP was reduced to just 73 seats. 16 BJP ministers had to face defeat in the 2018 elections. Not only this, 94 MLAs were given tickets again. Of these, 54 had to face defeat. The BJP had re-nominated 94 out of 163 MLAs in the 2018 elections. Out of these only 40 were able to save their seats.

trend of rajasthan

If we look at the four assembly elections held in Rajasthan in the last 20 years, no party has been successful in forming the government for the second time in a row. When the MLAs of the ruling party contest the elections again, most of them are rejected by the public. Most of the public’s anger comes out on the ministers, most of the leaders who were ministers in the last four governments have been seen losing in the next elections. Seeing this, you can easily understand the trend of Rajasthan that the people of the state change the government every five years. However, Congress leaders seem to be claiming that this time the Congress will regain power in the state and the trend of Rajasthan will change.

BJP started ‘Nahi Sahega Rajasthan’ campaign, JP Nadda told the full form of UPA

According to the experts having knowledge in the politics of Rajasthan, when a party comes to power, the hopes of the people of the state get attached to it. But when the expectations are not fulfilled in five years, then the public gives a befitting reply to them in the next elections. Antiincumbency increases against the government and its effect is visible in the elections. The ruling party has to bear the brunt of this.
