Ahmedabad, 21 July (Hindustan). A social worker youth from Ahmedabad has been appreciated globally for his unique service for the differently-abled and the visually impaired. This young man worked as a writer for more than 800 Divyang and Pragya Chakshu examinees during the last 9 years. The contribution of this young man has been mentioned in the World Record India.

A unique world record has been registered in the name of Ahmedabad’s Alpesh Karena. The team of world record has given him gold medal and certificate. Alpesh, who has been engaged in continuous service for almost 9 years, told that he writes papers as a writer for Pragyachakshu students. I myself appear in all the examinations, so that I can tell others to also join this work. Sometimes there are exams in 4-4 colleges simultaneously, in such a situation I have to write papers the whole day. Once I had to become a writer for 4-4 examinees daily during the whole week. The first paper was written from 8 to 9.30 in the morning, the second from 10 to 11.30 in the same way the last paper was written in Andhajan Mandal Vastrapur from 8 to 10 in the evening.

According to Alpesh, it happened many times that along with our paper, the paper of a Divyang or a visually impaired student was also there. In such a situation, after giving my paper, I used to appear as a writer in Pragyachakshu’s examination immediately. While doing this, I did not even know how I became a writer for 800 intellectuals and Divyang in this journey of 9 years and it became a world record.

On the other hand, where the world record team appreciated Alpesh’s Bhagirath Yatra and gave citations and medals, state government ministers Mulubhai Bera, Padamshree Kanu Taylor and youth icon Safin Hasan have sent congratulatory messages.
