Infosys profit up 11 percent at Rs 5,945 crore in June quarter

New Delhi, 20 July (Hindustan Times). The country’s second largest information technology (IT) company Infosys has announced the results of the first quarter (April-June) of the current financial year 2023-24. Infosys’ June quarter profit grew 11 percent to Rs 5,945 crore. Due to this, the company had a net profit of Rs 5,362 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

The company said in a statement released on Thursday that its integrated net profit in the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24 increased by 11 percent to Rs 5,945 crore, while the company had a profit of Rs 5,362 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. However, the company has reduced its revenue growth forecast to 3.5 per cent for the current financial year 2023-24 amid wide uncertainties.

Infosys said that during the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24, the company’s income increased by 10 percent to Rs 37,933 crore, compared to Rs 34,470 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. Apart from this, the company’s operating margin has been 20.8 percent.
