Washington, July 20 (Hindustan). To deal with China, America has decided to manufacture war vehicles including long-range cannons in collaboration with India. America’s Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo Pacific Affairs Eli Ratner gave this information to the US Parliament.
During the discussion on the issue of China in the US Parliament, Ratner told that in view of India’s operational needs, India and America have decided to join hands in the manufacture of combat vehicles. He said that the Biden administration, along with its allies, is working to strengthen the security of the Indo-Pacific region. This discussion about China in the US Parliament is taking place at a time when tensions between the US and China have deepened on the issue of Taiwan and human rights.
Ratner said the US is also helping Japan regain its ability to respond to an attack. Together with Australia, it is developing the manufacturing capacity of missiles and weapons. The US is co-developing and co-manufacturing with India in the defense sector. Also strengthening South Asian countries to raise their voice against China’s oppression. We are also working with our Indian partners to co-produce long-range artillery and combat vehicles, Ratner said.
