Once again it has come to the fore that quality food is not being sold by food vendors in Surat city. Surat’s health department has revealed that the quality of cheese and mayonnaise in pizza centers in the city’s posh Ghod Road and Pal areas is not up to standard. Surtis should reduce the intake of outside food and warn against those selling such unhealthy food items.
After the lab test report of the Food Department, notices have been issued by the Municipal Corporation to the managers of those institutions. In the coming days, legal action will be taken by registering a complaint against these institutions by the Municipal Corporation. The Food Department of Surat Municipal Corporation has given a list of pizza centers whose cheese and mayonnaise samples have failed.
