Gorakhpur. Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will be on a tour of Gorakhpur and Ballia on Saturday, May 20. Akhilesh Yadav will go to Tada located in Barhalganj, the village of former cabinet minister Pandit Harishankar Tiwari. Akhilesh Yadav will reach his village on Saturday morning around 11:30 am. Akhilesh Yadav will express condolences here. After this, former cabinet minister Pandit Harishankar will pay tribute to Tiwari. Samajwadi Party workers have started preparations after the information about Akhilesh Yadav coming to Gorakhpur. Pandit Harishankar Tiwari passed away on the evening of 16 May at 7:30 pm at his Dharamshala residence. He was running ill for a long time. On receiving the news of his death, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav expressed his condolences on social media.
Akhilesh Yadav will reach Gorakhpur on Saturday
Pandit Harishankar Tiwari died at the age of 88. On hearing the news of his demise, hundreds of people had reached his residence in Dharamshala. The elder son of Pandit Harishankar Tiwari is former MP Bhishma Shankar Tiwari alias Kushal Tiwari and the younger son is former MLA Vinay Shankar Tiwari. The last journey of Harishankar Tiwari was taken out from his residence in Dharamshala on 17th May. Akhilesh Yadav was expected to attend his last visit. But due to some reason he could not reach that day. But now Akhilesh Yadav will reach Gorakhpur on Saturday.
Will leave for Ballia from Gorakhpur
Samajwadi Party Gorakhpur’s media in-charge Raju Tiwari told that Akhilesh Yadav will reach Gorakhpur airport at 10:30 am on Saturday by chartered plane. From where he will go to Tada village of Pandit Harishankar Tiwari by road. Where he will express condolences by meeting former MP Santakbirnagar Bhishma Shankar Tiwari and his younger daughter former MLA Chillupar Vinay Shankar Tiwari as well as his family members. After which he will leave for Ballia from Gorakhpur. Workers including senior leaders of Samajwadi Party have started preparations for his arrival in Gorakhpur.

After Gorakhpur, Akhilesh Yadav will reach Ballia at around 2.30 pm. Akhilesh Yadav will go to Khadsara Azizpur village of Rasra area. Here, the outgoing state president of SP will pay tribute to the father of Arvind Giri. After this they will reach Dadsara village of Pakdi police station. Where self Will pay tribute to Hemant Yadav and express condolences to the family. After this Akhilesh Yadav will leave for Gorakhpur.
