Lucknow. Indian Railways has announced to run reserved special train between New Delhi and Muzaffarpur Junction. With this announcement of Railways, lakhs of people of Moradabad, Lucknow and Gorakhpur divisions of Uttar Pradesh will get great convenience. He will be able to facilitate the journey to Delhi and Bihar. The special train (04048/04047) is being operated from May 20 on Saturday.
The reserved special train number 04048 running from Delhi to Muzaffarpur Junction will leave Delhi at 11.00 pm on 20th May. After departure from Delhi it will reach Muzaffarpur Junction at 09.15 hrs the next day. In the return direction, 04047 Muzaffarpur Jn – Delhi Reserved Special train will depart at 11:30 pm on 21st May and reach Delhi at 11:00 pm the next day.
This special train with sleeper and general class coaches will stop at Moradabad, Chandausi Junction, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Chhapra, and Hajipur Junction stations. This train will take approximately 10 hours 15 minutes to reach Muzaffarpur Junction from New Delhi. And it will take 11 hours 30 minutes to reach Delhi from Muzaffarpur Junction.
Five trains stopping at Piparsund station will pass without stopping for 22 days. Due to the construction of new down loop line at the station, stoppage of these five trains has been canceled from 20 May to 10 June 23. According to the information received from Northern Railway, Kanpur Central-Utretia Memu Express Special (04296), Virangana Laxmibai – Lucknow Express Special (01823), Kanpur Central – Lucknow Memu Express Special (04298), Kanpur Central – Lucknow Memu Express Special (04214), The stoppage of Kasganj – Lucknow Junction Special (05380) will remain cancelled.
