Congress engaged in mission mode for Lok Sabha elections, State President Rajesh Thakur gave this mantra in the meeting

Ranchi: The Congress is busy in mission mode for the preparation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. A meeting of the extended working committee of Dhanbad and Bokaro districts was held on Thursday. State President Rajesh Thakur was specially present in this. Mr. Thakur said that today the whole country is looking towards Congress with full of hope. People are extremely angry with the policies and decisions of the BJP-led government at the Center and the BJP governments in the states. This is the reason why the public gave a clear mandate in the Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka assembly elections. The state president said that the coalition government is running in the state with the help of the Congress. That’s why our responsibility becomes more important. We and all of you have been selected as office bearers. We all have to cooperate in this to maximize the work of the public. If Rahul Gandhi is to be seen as the Prime Minister, then the battle to fulfill the objectives of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will have to be fought at the booth level. The struggle against recruitment, unemployment and corruption will have to be intensified at every level. We have to make strong preparations for every seat in view of the upcoming elections.

State Congress President Rajesh Thakur has given clear instructions to the district, block and divisional presidents to organize the meeting of district office bearers regularly from 5th to 10th of every month and the meeting of block and divisional committee between 10th and 15th of every month. In the next few days, after visiting all the remaining districts, the state president himself will verify the newly formed committees and discuss with the workers and prepare the outline of the upcoming program.

Congress state spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad told that about 30,000 office bearers have been selected in district, block and divisional committees in the entire state. Now the process of formation of permanent committee is going on at ward and booth level. Ten youths are being selected at each booth. Under the guidance of State Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey, under the leadership of State Congress President Rajesh Thakur, working presidents in-charge of the concerned districts and general secretaries in-charge of the district are continuously traveling to the districts. Meetings are being organized continuously in all the districts. Congress state president Rajesh Thakur has visited six districts so far. On 11th and 12th May, the extended working committee meeting of the district was held in East Singhbhum, Seraikela Kharsawan, West Singhbhum and Khunti districts.
