When you stand at the underground stations of Patna Metro, vehicles will run on both sides of you. This type of platform is called island platform. The platform of Corridor-2 will be below the concourse and the platform of Corridor-1 will be below that as well. All these floors will be connected to each other and the ground floor. Whereas, the platform of Corridor-1 is at the bottom. Metro will run from Danapur to Bypass and Bypass to Danapur on this platform. Whereas, Corridor-2 will come from ISBT.

Pedestrians will be able to use the metro roads for free

The special thing about the metro station being built near Patna Junction is that this metro station is the busiest as well as commercial and non-commercial hub of the city. Thousands of passengers will land here. The facilities to be provided by Metro will be connected to Patna Junction Road, Bandar Bagicha Road and Jamal Road. Due to this, free facility will be available for pedestrians to travel from this side of Fraser Road to the other side. People will be able to cross the road from the concourse level of the metro station without buying a ticket.
