When you stand at the underground stations of Patna Metro, vehicles will run on both sides of you. This type of platform is called island platform. The texture of all the underground stations of Patna Metro will be similar. Metro tracks at underground metro stations will be parallel to the platform on both sides. One of the longest underground stations will be near Patna Junction, with a length of 345 meters and a track depth of about 23 meters from ground level.

Whereas, the platform of Corridor-1 is at the bottom. Metro will run from Danapur to Bypass and Bypass to Danapur on this platform. Whereas, Corridor-2 will come from ISBT.

Pedestrians will be able to use the metro roads for free
The special thing about the metro station being built near Patna Junction is that this metro station is the busiest as well as commercial and non-commercial hub of the city. Thousands of passengers will land here. The facilities to be provided by Metro will be connected to Patna Junction Road, Bandar Bagicha Road and Jamal Road. Due to this, free facility will be available for pedestrians to travel from this side of Fraser Road to the other side. People will be able to cross the road from the concourse level of the metro station without buying a ticket.
