Bihar School Examination Board (Bihar Board) has released the date of entrance examination 2023 for Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course. The examination for admission to 30,700 seats in 307 DLED colleges will be held from June 5 to 15. This examination will be held in two shifts at the examination centers located at various district headquarters.

The admit card for the exam will be issued on May 27, which the candidates can download from the website using user ID and password. The exam will be computer based. User ID and Password will be allotted to the candidates at the examination center 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination. The computer will be turned on with this password and will be able to take the exam.
Prohibition on coming wearing shoes and socks
Coming to the DLED exam center wearing shoes and socks for the first time will be prohibited. Will enter the examination center only by wearing slippers instead of shoes and socks. Biometric attendance of all the candidates will be recorded in the examination hall. Under this, all the candidates will have to enter the thumb impression of the left hand. Web photo of all the candidates will also be taken. Successful candidates will be matched with the biometric attendance taken in the examination hall at the time of admission.
Henna, nail polish prohibited
It is strictly prohibited for the candidates to appear for the examination by applying henna, ink, colour, nail polish etc. on their fingers, so that there is no difficulty in registering biometric attendance. Candidates are required to bring face mask, personal hand sanitizer, ball point pen and exam related documents with them. The hands of the candidate will be sanitized at the registration desk. All activities of candidates and examination will be recorded in CCTV camera.
Entry will not be available inside the center before half an hour
In the examination, the candidates will have to enter inside the center half an hour before. After this admission will not be given. The first shift exam will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, the entry for which will start from 8:30 am and the main gate of the center will be closed at 9:30 am. Whereas, the second shift exam will be held from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, for which admission will be available from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
Photo will have to be pasted in the application form
A passport size color photograph of the photograph uploaded along with the application should be pasted in the prescribed space on the original Admit Card. It has to be submitted to the speculum in the examination hall. The photocopy of the original admit card will be kept by the candidate safely. Without affixing the photograph on the admit card and without valid photo identity card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Bringing any rough paper and other material will be prohibited.
