Senior foreman Vimal Kumar and technician Iqbal of Bareilly depot have been suspended. Along with this, the group in-charge of the depot Rajendra Singh has been suspended from the headquarters. This action has created a stir among the employees of the depot.

AC bus UP 32 MN, 9842 of Bareilly Depot of Roadways left for Kanpur from Satellite Bus Stand with 30 passengers on May 12. Driver Anil Kumar and Deepak Kumar were conductors on this. A sudden fire broke out in Janrath AC bus near Madnapur in Shahjahanpur district at 5 pm. This created a stir among the passengers. Passengers saved their lives by jumping from the bus with great difficulty. After this accident, Roadways Nodal Officer Shyam Babu and GM Technical Ravindra Singh reached Bareilly.
