Lucknow: The mastermind of Bihar’s ATM Baba gang, Bulbul has been arrested. ATM Baba alias Bulbul has been arrested from Chhapra. Chhapra’s SP Dr. Gaurav Mangla has confirmed his arrest. Bulbul Sushant was wanted in the case of theft of Rs 39 lakh from SBI ATM located in Khudarhi Bazaar of Golf City. Dismissed constable Bulbul’s wife is the head of the panchayat.
Gang members were arrested from Chhapra itself
The ATM Baba gang had stolen Rs 39.56 lakh by cutting the ATM with a gas cutter on the night of 3rd April. After a car was seen in the CCTV footage, it was revealed that Chapra’s gang was involved in it. After this, two teams of UP Police were sent to Chhapra. These teams arrested Neeraj Mishra, Raj Tiwari, Kumar Bhaskar, Pankaj Pandey, Devesh Pandey, Vijay Pandey involved in the theft. While ATM Baba was absconding.
