Bihar politics: Jitan Ram Manjhi, the patron of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), has once again stirred political discussions with his statements. The two-day National Council meeting of HAM concluded in Rajgir on Monday. A total of nine resolutions have been passed in this meeting except political resolution. It has not been decided with which party we will contest the Lok Sabha elections. The National President has been authorized for this. In this meeting, Jitan Ram Manjhi also expressed his tension.

In the meeting of the National Council, the patron of the party and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that he has vowed to stay with Nitish Kumar. But oath has no importance in politics. He stressed on the need to form a coordination committee in the constituents of the Grand Alliance. Jitan Ram Manjhi expressed displeasure over taking back a ministry from his son and Bihar government minister Santosh Suman.

Jitan Ram Manjhi said that Minister Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman had two departments earlier. A department has been taken away from him. He has demanded the government to take over private schools, make separate crematoriums for scheduled castes in every revenue village and provide five decimals to the landless to build houses and one acre of mango gairmajrua or bhoodan land for cultivation.

Please tell that when Santosh Suman was a minister in the NDA government, he was in charge of two departments. In the previous government, Santosh Suman had the departments of Scheduled Caste-Tribe Welfare and Minor Water Resources. But when there was a big upheaval in the politics of Bihar and the Grand Alliance government was formed, then Santosh Suman was definitely made a minister but he was assigned only one department. He is now in charge of the Scheduled Caste-Tribe Welfare Department. On the other hand, Jitan Ram Manjhi praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and compared him with Jayaprakash Narayan. He said that all-round development of Bihar is taking place under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
