IGNOU: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the new admission date for July 2023 session. With the release of the admission date, the application process has been started. Students who want to take admission in graduate and post graduate courses can apply online through the website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The last date of application is 30 June. At the same time, the students taking admission in the online course can go to the website and get the registration done. IGNOU’s Regional Director Dr. Abhilash Nayak told that along with BA, B.Sc, B.Com, various graduates, masters, diploma, PG diploma and certificate courses can take admission in more than 300 courses. More than 230 courses are being conducted at Patna centre. At the same time, 43 online courses are also available. The last date of application has been fixed as 30 June.

SC-ST students will do free graduation in IGNOU

Dr. Abhilash Nayak told that SC-ST category students will get free admission in BA, B.Sc and B.Com courses of graduation in IGNOU. For this, students will have to upload the relevant certificates online at the time of admission. For the rest of the other courses, SC-ST students will have to pay the prescribed course fee. For free admission, the income of the parents of the students should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per annum. Income certificate will also have to be submitted. Only Rs 300 as registration fee and Rs 500 as development fee will have to be paid. His re-registration fee for the next year will also be waived. Scanned copies of the prescribed documents will also have to be uploaded along with the course fee at the time of application for admission. These include photograph, signature, age certificate (10th mark sheet), certificate of desired educational qualification, experience certificate (if asked), caste certificate (if applicable), BPL certificate (if applicable). if applicable), etc.

Only registration fee will be deducted for not taking admission

After applying for admission and paying fees, if for any reason they want to cancel it, then they will have to login to the admission portal. The fees paid by them will be refunded after deducting the registration fee. In addition, if the candidate wants to withdraw the fee within a maximum of 15 days after the prescribed last date of June 30, an additional deduction of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 will be deducted if the candidate wants to withdraw the fee within a maximum of 30 days. On the other hand, the course fee will not be refunded after 30 days from the date of application.
