Patna Metro Project: The work of metro rail project in Patna is going on very fast. On one side in Patna, where the tunnel excavation work is going on fast in the Moinul Haq Stadium complex. On the other hand, the construction work of Metro’s Elevated Corridor-1 is also going on at full speed. In this sequence, on Monday, the first 70 ton precast pier cap was launched for the 17.93 km long elevated corridor and section of the Metro. Its length is 10.098 meters. This milestone was achieved at Pier/Pillar No. 115 in the viaduct located near Mithapur Metro Station. DMRC officials told that U-girders will be launched between the two pier caps, on which the metro track will be laid.
