Screw stuck in the construction of Patna’s Mithapur-Mahuli elevated road, matter reached to Additional Collector

67 percent of the work on the elevated road being constructed between Mithapur to Mahuli (Ramgovind Singh Halt) on the southern side of the Patna-Gaya rail line has been completed. But its construction work is slow near Sipara, because the work of demolishing a dozen obstructing structures is yet to be done. The matter of about 22 kathas of land here is still pending with the Additional Collector. Further work can be done only after the hearing in the matter. This land falls in four mouzas of Phulwarisharif zone. There is Bakasht, Gair Majrua mango type land in it.

Construction will speed up after the decision

With the distribution of compensation speeding up after the decision on Sipra’s 22 Kattha land, the construction of the elevated road will speed up after the acquisition of the land. According to experts, the CO and DCLR have sent the land report to the Additional Collector. According to the decision of the Additional Collector, compensation will be distributed to the ryots if the land is private. Having government land, there will be no problem in land acquisition.

Girder launching on 54 span completed

112 spans have been made ready for the construction of elevated road. In these, girder has been launched on 54 spans. Two machines are engaged for guard launching. Girder launching work is going on fast on the remaining 58 spans. It is being constructed by Afcons Infrastructure Limited. The target is to complete its construction work by March next year.

Waiting for administrative approval regarding construction between Mithapur-Sipara

The source said that administrative approval is being awaited for the construction of elevated road between Mithapur to Sipara. 2.1 km construction is possible after getting permission from the cabinet. Earlier there was a plan to connect the road from below to Mithapur. But later it was decided to construct an elevated road in the Revise project.
