Lahore, May 15 (Hindustan). Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday appeared in the Lahore High Court along with his wife Bushra Bibi in the Al Qadir Trust case. The court granted bail to Bushra Bibi till May 23.
There has been an uproar in Pakistan since the arrest of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. With the permission of the Supreme Court, Imran was released from jail but he is repeatedly talking about danger for himself and his wife Bushra Bibi. On Monday, Imran along with wife Bushra Bibi approached the Lahore High Court. During the hearing, the Lahore High Court granted bail to Imran’s wife till May 23.
During Imran Khan’s appearance in the Lahore High Court, his opponents reached the Supreme Court and staged a protest there. Activists of Pakistan Democratic Movement are protesting against the release of Imran Khan. The Pakistan Democratic Movement includes several parties, including the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl and the Pakistan People’s Party.
