A victim had lodged an FIR in the women’s police station regarding this matter. The victim, a resident of University police station area, has said in the application that she was introduced to a person named Subhash Kumar Singh on Facebook. During the conversation, he talked about giving training and job in Mithila painting.
She lived in Asansol, West Bengal. Under the guise of the accused, she came to Darbhanga with the goods. The accused kept her in a rented house in a locality of the city and kept raping her. On making pressure for marriage, vermilion was applied in a closed room. He said that he got married, now live properly. Meanwhile, Subhash again called a girl to Darbhanga through Facebook on the pretext of teaching her Mithila painting and getting her a job. When he protested after getting the information, he started threatening to kill him.
Despite being married, the young man used to ask many girls to get married by calling himself a bachelor. After that he used to make physical relations with everyone. The accused has been arrested. He is being sent to judicial custody.
