The Enforcement Directorate (ED) found a diary during a raid at the house of Bhanu Pratap, an employee of Bargai circle. In this, the account of money transaction in the case of land and the name of the person giving the money is written. The employee has taken this money to add the names of the concerned people by making changes in Register-2.
On April 13, the ED team raided the locations of Chhavi Ranjan and others. During the raid from employee Bhanu Pratap’s house, diary, government documents related to the land of Zonal Office and Rs 3.97 lakh in cash were found. Volume No-6, Volume No-7, Volume No-8, New Bargain, Purana Bargaon documents, District Land Acquisition Office and other documents related to the land of Bargai circle from the employee’s house are included.
Volume number-6 contains the original documents of land from account number-134 to 153 of the zone. The document related to the old Badgai found from the employee’s house is in dilapidated condition. New pages have been added here and there. The volumes seized from the employee’s house contain original documents related to land in different areas. In the initial investigation of the document found from the employee’s house, the ED has caught the case of large-scale truncation in the land document and erasing the names of many people and writing the names of other people.
Some cases have also been found that the name of the person whose name is not there in Register-2 related to the land, has been entered in the details related to the land on the website. During the ongoing investigation in the case of sale and purchase of land by forgery in documents, more than two dozen people have complained about their land being grabbed. Along with this, documents related to this have also been submitted to the ED office. However, even now many people have not been able to get the information about the forgery that happened to them. Because some tampering has been done in the land documents recently.
