A four-year BS program in Medical Science and Engineering is being started at IIT Madras. It is the first institute in the country to start this course.

Admission of students will be done through IISER Aptitude Test (IAT).

With this, candidates must have passed class 12th (or equivalent) examination with Science stream in the year 2022 or 2023 from any board recognized by the Board of Department Education Council in India.
