Buses will be run on PPP mode on 5467 routes of Bihar. The Transport Department will mark the route and issue inter-regional permits. With this, the passengers of the state and outside the state will also get better transport facilities and people will be able to travel comfortably from any remote area of the state. The Transport Department has decided to operate buses on all these routes in the next one year.
Additional bus service will start soon for Delhi including 293 routes of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bengal and UP
The department has entered into an interstate transport agreement with other states as well. In this, an agreement has been made for interstate transport on 200 routes in Jharkhand, 28 routes in Chhattisgarh, 16 in Odisha, 25 in West Bengal and 24 in UP. Also, the process of signing a transport agreement on inter-state routes from Bihar to Delhi is going on. Soon buses will start operating from various major districts of Bihar to Delhi.
Transport Department will control
After the permits are given on all these marked routes in the state, the Transport Corporation will have control over the buses and their operations. The corporation will have control over from where the bus will go and what will be the fare. The corporation will decide the fare and distance of the bus keeping in view the convenience of the people.

Bus stop being built
Now when the buses will be operational, there will also be a need for a bus stop. In such a situation, bus stops are also being made by the state government for the stoppage of buses in rural areas. From where the passengers will not face any problem in boarding and disembarking. A ramp will also be made at the bus stop for the disabled, so that they will be able to get on and off the bus. Along with this, many other facilities will also be available.
