Varanasi, May 10 (Hindustan). Wrestling and Yoga competition will be held in Varanasi in Khelo India University Games-2022. It will include participants from universities across the country. A total of 240 players will participate in the wrestling competition, which includes 160 male and 80 female players. A total of 96 players will participate in the Yogasan competition. There will be 48 male and 48 female players in this. A total of 490 members are reaching Varanasi to participate in the competition. It also includes supporting and technical staff along with the players.
This information was given by District Magistrate S. Rajalingam to reporters. He informed that the players coming for the Khelo India University Games have been provided accommodation at Hotel RK Heights Navnina Grands, Yug Residency and Lilygrand. Official residential arrangements have been made at IIT Guest House, Vegetable Research Guest House and Inter University Teacher Education Center Sunderpur.
He informed that the wrestling competition will be held at the Student Activity Center of BHU IIT from May 26 to 29. The Yogasana competition will be held from June 1 to June 3. The District Magistrate said that Uttar Pradesh has got the opportunity to host the Games India event, which is a matter of pride for all of us.
