New Delhi, 08 May (Hindustan Times). Wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar against Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh have got the support of farmers. Today farmers have reached Jantar Mantar in large numbers. During this, the farmers also dropped the barricades there and reached among the players.
An official associated with the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) said that people associated with the farmers’ organization have reached Jantar Mantar today in support of the wrestlers. Farmers organizations are with the players of the country. Farmers organizations also want that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh should be removed from all posts and he should be arrested immediately.
Meanwhile, farmers also demonstrated their anger at Jantar Mantar. Farmers of BKU Sidhupur organization demonstrated in large numbers by breaking the barricade. During this, Rapid Action Force was also present on the spot. However, the administration did not use any kind of force. People of BKU Sidhupur organization also raised slogans against Modi, Yogi and Shah.
It is noteworthy that the President of Wrestling Federation Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been accused of sexual exploitation by some female wrestlers. In such a situation, the players have been demonstrating at Jantar Mantar for the last few days to remove Singh from all the posts. Now farmer organizations are also gathering in support of these players. People associated with SKM say that if the players are not accepted, then the farmers’ organizations will launch a nationwide agitation.
