The Qatar Stock Exchange index started trading today, up by 0.21%, adding 22.77 points to its balance, and thus rising to 10,662 points, compared to the end of last Thursday’s trading.
The stock exchange figures attributed the positive performance of the general index to the insurance sector by 4.4%, the real estate sector by 1.27%, the banking and financial services sector by 0.27%, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.08%, while the performance was stable for the telecommunications sector by 0.00%. The negative performance of the transport sector by 0.17% and the industrial sector by 0.29%.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 115.301 million riyals, distributed to 44.232 million shares, with the implementation of 3316 transactions.
