The Qatar Central Bank issued treasury bills and Islamic sukuk for terms of one week, one month, three, six and nine months, at a value of 5 billion Qatari riyals, indicating that the total value of bids submitted amounted to 11.75 billion Qatari riyals.
Qatar Central Bank stated, in a tweet today on its official account, on the social networking site “Twitter”, that the issuance of treasury bills was distributed by one billion Qatari riyals for one week at an interest rate of 5.5050 percent, one billion riyals for one month at an interest rate of 5.5625 percent, and one billion Qatari riyals for three terms. One month with an interest rate of 5.6450 percent, one billion Qatari riyals for six months with an interest rate of 5.7025 percent, and one billion Qatari riyals for nine months with an interest rate of 5.7500 percent.
