In Rander Zone of Surat Municipal Corporation, the process of removing encroachments has been started to solve the traffic problem around the metro works. Apart from this, a campaign to remove lorries has been started outside Palanpur vegetable market. The traffic problem near Palanpur Jakatnaka has reduced as the encroachment around the metro works has reduced. Similarly, demands are being made to strictly remove encroachments around other places where metro work is going on.
The work of Metro is going on in Randor Zone of Surat Municipality. Metro work is going on in full swing between LP Savani to Palanpur Jakatnaka via Star Bazaar. Due to this campaign, the use of the road has reduced to half, due to which the problem of traffic is becoming acute. The problem of traffic is increasing, on the other hand, due to encroachment on this narrow road, the problem of traffic is getting worse day by day. Similarly, since the road has become narrow for the use of vehicles, action is being taken to remove the encroachment by the Rander zone. The traffic problem has been reduced to a great extent by removing encroachments around the metro work in Rander zone.
Apart from this, there was a problem of traffic due to the encroachment of lorries around Palanpur vegetable market. On the way from Tadwadi to Sabzi Mandi, many lorries used to stand in the middle of the road. These lorries used to create huge traffic problems and used to threaten mischievous encroachers. The encroachment of lorries is increasing day by day, so the zone on Tuesday launched a campaign to remove the pressure of lorries, which has reduced the traffic problem on this road considerably.
