City student Yashvi Patel, who recovered after being on ventilator for 78 days due to GBS (Gulian Bari Syndrome), cleared her Class 12 Science exam with determination.
Yashvi Patel, a resident of Harni Road, was already brilliant in studies. Yashvi, who scored 94 percentile in class 10th and 86 percentile in science in class 11th, was preparing for class 12th science exam in March-2022 and before that she was diagnosed with GBS (Gillian Bari syndrome).
In this disease, the person completely falls on the bed. He also has a lot of difficulty in walking. Yashvi had to stay in the hospital for 3 months. Out of this, he had to be kept on ventilator support for 78 days. He was discharged from the hospital in January 2022. However, it was difficult for him to get up. Because this disease takes time to heal.
Yashvi says, I had decided to drop the 2022 exam with a very sad heart. Even after coming home, it was difficult for me to walk for seven months but I was determined to pass the exam. Decided to take the exam in March 2023 and started studying again in December. I could stand only if two people held me and lifted me. Even in such a situation, I went to school for three months. My family always encouraged me. I have passed 12th class science exam with 50% marks. This exam means a lot to me. It would have been a much better result if I hadn’t been sick.
