Surat: Police recovers diamond packet lost from businessman after checking 250 cameras

The Rander police has done the job of bringing a smile on the face of a diamond merchant by returning a diamond packet worth three and a half lakhs within 36 hours. The police commissioner has given a reward of 5 thousand to the Rander police team. The diamond merchant cried out to the Rander police, “Sir, my diamond packet has fallen.” I am a small diamond merchant, if I do not get this packet, I will be in trouble.

So the Rander police checked 250 cameras to find the diamond packet in a radius of 5.4 km from Sanskar Bharti School to Chandrashekhar Azad Bridge, then the tempo driver picked up the businessman’s packet near a dargah in Palanpur Patiya. Got the tempo’s number and reached the driver’s house. The police showed the CCTV and then the driver handed over the diamond packet to the police.

Diamond packet found after a lot of effort

A diamond packet worth Rs 3.50 lakh fell from the pocket of Katargam diamond merchant Vipul Kalathia on the morning of 19th. Lakhs were spent in two operations of the businessman’s father. Diamonds worth lakhs fell and got into more trouble. Then the businessman informed the Rander police and found the diamond packet.
