Indian-origin Radha will be America’s Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, approved by the Senate

Washington, April 21 (Hindustan). Radha Iyengar Plumb of Indian origin will be the new Deputy Under Secretary of Defense of America. Radha, who was nominated by US President Joe Biden in June last year, has been approved by the Senate.

According to information, US President Joe Biden nominated Radha as the US Deputy Under Secretary of Defense in June last year. Radha is currently serving as the Chief of Staff to the US Deputy Secretary of Defense. Radha’s appointment was awaiting Senate approval after being nominated by the President. Now the Senate has also approved Radha’s appointment. After becoming the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense of America, Radha will have the work of procurement and maintenance of the US Department of Defense.

Radha was earlier Director of Research and Insights for Trust and Safety at Google. Prior to that, she served as the global head of policy analysis at Facebook. Radha, 41, worked as a health policy scholar at Harvard University after studying at MIT and Princeton universities. He has also served as a teacher at the London School of Economics. He is known in America as a precise planner and a deep analyst.
