IT Fundamentals is a study program that helps young people and adults familiarize themselves with the IT sphere and re-profile themselves for a job of the future. Here, participants will learn essential concepts and practices in information technology, including hardware, software, operating systems, application development and testing, and the roles of an IT professional.

In the IT Fundamentals course, participants will study 24 subjects needed to start a career in IT right. With the help of mentors with over 10 years of experience, students will learn more about:
Introduction to IT. Hardware and Software Components
Storage. Security and Network
Management of operating systems
Programming languages. Project management
The Fundamentals of IT program will take place in offline format between April 25 and June 8 and will take place in the Orange Digital Center on the premises of the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University in Chisinau, central block. The program is made in Romanian and is absolutely free.
At the end of the program, the best participants will obtain international graduation certification and will be ready to start their first IT job.
Who can participate in the program?
High school students who want to test their interest and aptitude for a career in IT
Students who want to reinvent themselves or explore a different field than the one they are studying
Professionals from any other field, interested in redefining themselves in IT and developing their technological skills
Entrepreneurs who want to learn how to take their businesses online
Registration of participants will be based on completion the registration form until April 19, 2023, 11:59 p.m. Selection of participants will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
The IT Fundamentals learning program is launched by the Orange Foundation under the umbrella of the Orange Digital Center and is carried out in partnership with the Dreamups innovation accelerator.
