Minimum temperature in Delhi recorded at 15.7 degree Celsius, light rain expected during the day

The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 15.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday morning, three notches below normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information.

According to the IMD, Delhi recorded 83 per cent relative humidity at 8.30 am on Saturday.

The department has expressed the possibility of cloudy sky and light rain or drizzle in the city during the day.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi recorded an overall air quality index (AQI) of 77 around 8 am on Saturday, which falls in the ‘satisfactory’ category.

Significantly, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’ and Between 401 and 500 is considered ‘severe’.
