In the last 24 hours, 2,994 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in India, while the number of patients under treatment increased to 16,354. According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Saturday morning, the number of people infected with Kovid-19 in the country has increased to 4,47,18,781. At the same time, the total number of dead has increased to 5,30,876 due to the loss of nine more lives due to infection.
According to statistics, two patients each died in Delhi, Karnataka and Punjab, while one patient died in Gujarat due to corona virus infection in the last 24 hours in India. Besides this, two more cases have been added to the death toll after Kerala reconciled the data of patients who lost their lives to COVID-19.
According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the number of patients under treatment in the country is 0.04 percent of the total cases of infection. At the same time, the national rate of recovery from Kovid-19 has been recorded at 98.77 percent.
According to the data, the daily rate of infection has been recorded at 2.09 per cent and the weekly rate at 2.03 per cent. At the same time, the number of patients recovering from Kovid-19 has increased to 4,41,71,551, while the death rate is 1.19 percent.
According to statistics, 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
