“Young Scientists” concludes the Fifth Research Forum 2023

The Qatar University Center for Young Scientists concluded the Fifth Youth Research Forum 2023 in its fifth session this year.
This forum comes with the aim of developing a culture of scientific research among young people and confirming their role in leading change and creating opportunities for development and progress through scientific research and innovation related to the needs of society.
Many researchers presented their research contributions in the form of research papers or posters at the Fifth Youth Forum under the slogan (Higher Education Institutions and their Role in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals).
The center began receiving research abstracts since last June, and it has received approximately (276) participation requests, (186) of which met the participation conditions, and (36) research and research posters from (16) countries were qualified.
Dr. Mariam Al-Maadeed, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, said: “Higher education institutions have the most important and largest role in leading development and the movement of scientific research and development, as they are the highest educational institutions with potentials and resources from strong infrastructure, researchers and experts in various fields.
Dr. Noura Jabr Al-Thani, Director of the Qatar University Center for Young Scientists, said: “The center always seeks to provide opportunities and full support for students from all over the world to share their research and its findings with experts and researchers at Qatar University. This is focused on the great benefit for them, providing them with experiences, developing skills, and expanding their creativity.”
