The Mehr news agency reported that tens of thousands of settlers demonstrated in the occupied main cities after the sacking of Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The main roads linking Tel Aviv and the road linking Tel Aviv to Jerusalem were closed.

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets, on Sunday, in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and other cities, immediately after the announcement of the dismissal of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, following the Netanyahu government’s call to freeze plans to amend the judicial system, which caused great divisions among the Zionists.

The Israeli Army Radio said that the police commissioner had ordered reinforcements to be increased throughout Tel Aviv, and also quoted him as saying that the police would arrest all those involved in serious acts of violence and vandalism.

The Police Commissioner added that the authorities allow the democratic right to demonstrate, but they do not allow public disorder and damage to the government’s currency, according to the interpretation.

According to the Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation that the inspector general of the army will hold a meeting to discuss the security implications of the dismissal of Galant.

On the other hand, the leader of the opposition in the Israeli Occupation Authority said that “Netanyahu crossed the red line, and Israel’s security cannot be a card in the political game”.
