Mwani Qatar revealed that the port community system “#Mwanina” aims to improve the practice of business in ports by enhancing electronic services that eliminate the need to wait in long lines at administrative offices.

She added: The launch of this new system comes in line with the Ministry’s plans to provide a network of smart commercial ports that are efficient and effective and integrate with other means of transport to link the local economy with global markets in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The “Mwanina” system contributes to facilitating the entry of ships in general, keeping pace with the state’s plans to transform Qatar into a vibrant regional trade center in the region by facilitating commercial operations and enhancing their efficiency in accordance with the highest standards of security and safety, by promoting and supporting digital transformation efforts in the trade and logistics sectors. in the state.
Our ports is an electronic platform that allows the smart and secure exchange of information between stakeholders and various ports-related entities, which contributes to making import and export operations more efficient and effective in terms of time and cost. This system supports green initiatives by reducing reliance on paper, eliminating manual intervention, delays and errors that result from that, which contributes to raising performance and productivity indicators and supports the national economy and commercial movement along with the development of logistics services in the State of Qatar.
It also facilitates the exchange of information between exporters, importers, shipping lines and all stakeholders concerned with the ports through a single point of contact that saves the time and effort of the beneficiaries. 141 shipping and customs clearance companies and shipping agencies have been registered in the new system.
