The Railway Board has asked the North Central Railway (NCR) zone to ensure that the time limit is strictly followed in the movement of trains passing through or originating from New Delhi.
NCR has always had a remarkable record of punctuality in movement of trains. However, it is said that for the past few times, due to the failure of many trains to run on the scheduled time, the time limit could not be properly followed in their movement.
In a letter sent to the Principal Chief Operations Manager, NCR, the Railway Board said, “For the past few times, the time limit in the movement of trains passing through or passing through New Delhi has not been adhered to as it should be.” In such a situation, the board wants that NCR should take some corrective measures so that the time limit is strictly followed in the movement of trains and passengers are not inconvenienced.
