The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange decreased today, by 1.32%, or by 130.42 points, to reach 9 thousand and 778.27 points.
During today’s session, 123 million and 413 thousand and 215 shares were traded, with a value of 377 million and 87 thousand and 244,361 riyals, as a result of the implementation of 16,259 transactions in all sectors.
The shares of 13 companies rose in the session, while the prices of 30 other companies decreased, while 6 companies maintained their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to 564 billion and 65 million and 150 thousand and 432,960 riyals, compared to 571 billion and 154 million and 81 thousand and 222,670 riyals, in the previous session.
