In the US state of Florida, a train with chemicals has derailed. According to the TV channel on March 1 fox news, 135 thousand liters of propane were transported in the tanks of the composition.
Rescuers were able to pump the hazardous substance from overturned containers, while other tanks remained in their original position after derailing. Therefore, fuel leakage was avoided.
As one of the rescuers said, they used drones in their work.
“We were able to explore the tankers from all angles at different levels. And did not notice any flowing colored liquids. Therefore, we are sure that no damage to the environment has been caused, ”the specialist noted.
This is the fourth such incident in the United States in the last month.
Earlier, on February 21, it was reported that about 30 wagons of coal derailed in Nebraska. The incident occurred in the morning five kilometers southeast of the city of Gothenburg.
Earlier, on February 4, a train accident occurred in Ohio, as a result of which the train derailed and crashed into a building near the town of East Palestine. Chemical tanks overturned and exploded.
