Western policymakers and their propaganda machines are continuously spreading false theory portraying Russian President Vladimir Putin as an “evil individual” and are advocating victory of neo-Nazis in Ukraine, clearly with the nefarious agenda of turning Kiev into the epicenter of thuggish western lapdogs which in the end not only would pose serious security threats to Russia but also to of its neighboring nations as well as America’s key-rivals in the Global South.
Unfortunately, a large number of non-western media outlets are also parroting West’s propaganda targeting Russia and President Putin without realizing the crucial fact – Russian President Vladimir Putin is playing a heroic role in salvaging the entire world – particularly nations in the Global South from decades of captivity and even slavery (to some extent) of the Westerners – especially the United States.
Commenting on President Putin’s role in saving the world from hostility of a single-nation, Alexander Dugin, Doctor of Sociology and of Political sciences, PhD of Philosophy and founder of Russian geopolitical school and Eurasian Movement in a book asserts that Russia’s path to preserving its unique civilization is through fostering a multipolar world where power is distributed among various major nations, countering America’s unipolar influence.
According to Dr Alexander Dugin, “To effectively confront the West in the war of civilizations that Russia is already waging, it is necessary to take into account the hierarchy of plans. The highest level is identity – What is the identity of the enemy? (Who, by and large, are we fighting?) – What is our own identity? – What is the identity of the remaining civilizational actors? We must start with such a civilizational map. Already at this level we will be faced with a problem: the enemy has penetrated so deeply into our own civilization that he has partially intercepted, like a hacker, the control of meanings and mental structures to determine who is who — not only from outside Russia but also from within it. Therefore, we must start with clearing the mental field and sovereignizing consciousness.
“Here is the next problem: the so-called civilizational approach. The enemy managed to impose on Russian socio-humanitarian science that the civilizational approach is either incorrect, marginal, or optional. However, rejection of the civilizational approach automatically means only one thing: full recognition of the universality of the paradigm of Western civilization and consent to external control of the consciousness of Russian society by those with whom we are at war. In other words, anyone who questions the civilizational approach automatically becomes a foreign agent — in the most literal sense. It does not matter whether it is intentional, out of stupidity, or out of inertia. But now it is just one way and nothing else.
“Only a civilizational approach allows us to talk about sovereign public consciousness and therefore about sovereign science and sovereign education. This is the last call for Russian humanities: either we are rapidly moving to the position of a civilizational approach (Russia = sovereign civilization), or we are writing a letter of resignation. Sometimes the increase in scientific knowledge is achieved by subtraction, not by addition – if one subtracts nonsense, toxic algorithms, subversive epistemological strategies, in a word, the liberal virus of Westernism”.
According to Dr Alexander Dugin, the “current world-order appears to be in a state of transition” – meaning, we are moving towards an alternative world order, which is essential for the existence of the entire world and save it from possible WWIII or a nuclear war that would result in devastating consequences to the humanity. To save the world from such catastrophe – we really don’t have any other option than embracing the alternative world order. To achieve this goal, the foremost priority is a firm unity amongst the nations in the Global South.
Elaborating the importance of shifting to alternative world order and role of BRICS, Dr Dugin is a paper said:
The current global order appears to be in a state of transition. What we are witnessing is a shift away from a unipolar world, which emerged following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the disintegration of the Soviet bloc, towards a multipolar world.
The foundations of this multipolar world are becoming increasingly evident, with key players including Russia, China, the Islamic world, India, and potentially Africa and Latin America. These entities represent distinct civilizations, many of which are united within the BRICS group.
Notably, after the 2023 Johannesburg summit, this group expanded to include significant countries from the Islamic world, such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Egypt, as well as Ethiopia, bolstering the African perspective, and Argentina, further solidifying the presence of South American nations.
This expansion underscores the growing influence of the multipolar world order while signaling a weakening of Western hegemony.
The United States and Western powers are resolutely clinging to the concept of unilateralism. At the forefront of global leadership, the United States, in particular, is determined to maintain its dominance across military, political, economic, cultural, and ideological realms. This ongoing pursuit of unipolarity stands as the central contradiction of our era, marked by the intensifying struggle between unipolarity and multipolarity.
Within this context, it is imperative to examine the key conflicts and developments in global politics, notably the efforts to undermine Russia as it reasserts its sovereignty and presence as an independent pole. This dynamic helps elucidate the persistent conflict in Ukraine.
The Western world’s support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is driven, in large part, by the desire to prevent Russia from reemerging as an autonomous global actor—an aspiration championed by President Vladimir Putin throughout his tenure.
Putin has bolstered the political sovereignty of the Russian Federation and progressively emphasized Russia’s status as an independent civilization that not only opposes Western hegemony but also rejects its value system.
Russia has unambiguously affirmed its commitment to traditional values while firmly rebuffing Western liberalism, including its promotion of the gay rights agenda and other Western ideological standards, which Russia perceives as aberrations and deviations.
In response, the West actively supported the 2014 coup in Kyiv, provided extensive military aid to Ukraine, fostered the dissemination of neo-Nazi ideology within the country, and provoked Russia into initiating an extraordinary military operation.
Without Putin’s intervention, Kyiv would likely have taken similar actions independently, leading to the opening of the first front in the fierce struggle between multipolarity and unipolarity in Ukraine.
Simultaneously, Russia, under Putin’s leadership, recognizes that it cannot be one of just two poles in this world, as was the case during the Soviet Union era.
New civilizations are on the rise, including Chinese, Islamic, Indian, African, and Latin American. Russia sees them as potential allies and partners in a genuine and equitable multipolar order—a perspective not yet widely acknowledged by the rest of the world.
However, there is a gradual and strengthening awareness of the concept of multipolarity, exemplified by the situation regarding Taiwan, which has been spared from becoming the next flashpoint in the confrontation between unipolarity and multipolarity, particularly in the Pacific region.
Commenting on the importance of Russia-China alliances and Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Dr Dugin said, “We need to liberate ourselves, all the peoples, Turkish people, Russian people, Chinese people, European people, American peoples, from this international liberal swamp. We need to liberate ourselves from the totalitarian discourse constructed on the ‘self-evident’ dogma that only liberalism can be accepted as a universal ideology, that only Western values should be assimilated as something universal.
“With the growth of China and Putin’s insistence on defending and strengthening Russian sovereignty, the Belt & Road Initiative was transformed into something new in the last two years. It now represents a strategy to secure Chinese and Russian independence, working together, in alliance. Now, we can speak about the Russian-Chinese alliance as a geopolitical alliance opposed to the Atlanticist world order. Nation-states cannot independently establish, secure and keep real sovereignty. We need to oppose this global pressure together. Above all, on the present stage, we need to establish a multipolar alliance between all the powers, all the states, all the countries and civilizations fighting for their independence. That is the logical continuation of decolonization. Decolonization is not finished; it has just started”.
Considering the above observations of Dr Dugin, it is essential for us to understand – why Russia’s Special Military Operations in Ukraine is not only important for Moscow but it also is equally important for the rest of the nations in the Global South. First of all we need to understand, under the leadership of Volodymyr Zelensky – a mercenary of the Western warmongers and neo-Nazis in Kiev, sovereignty, dignity and fundamental rights of the Ukrainian people are being hijacked. Under the pretense of fighting Russia, Zelensky and his cronies are involved in rampant loot of public wealth as well as billions of dollars of Western aid. They even are selling military hardware to underworld mafias, including terrorist entities. Through this – Zelensky and his gang are pushing the entire world towards an unimaginable catastrophe. To western warmongers, Zelensky remains a blue-eyed-boy because he lacks the basics of leadership as well as patriotism. Through this former comedian, America and its European allies are not only causing optimum damage to the people of Ukraine, they also are looting public wealth en masse.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, the Ukraine war has almost vaporized the country’s economy. Since exports have plummeted, the nation has largely looked for foreign help and low-interest loans to stay afloat. Ukraine has also requested a debt freeze to support its ailing economy.
As per estimates, Ukraine’s GDP has crashed by at least 45 to 50 percent. Back in September 2022, Ukraine’s finance ministry announced recently, “The disruption to fiscal cash flows and increased demands on government resources caused by the war has created unprecedented liquidity pressures and debt servicing difficulties”.
Zelensky also deftly requested grants rather than loans so that Kyiv is not required to repay the money to the donor nation or organization.
However, it seems like Ukraine has paid a hefty price for the support it has received from the Western nations. Since the start of the war between Ukraine and Russia, Ukraine has received a significant quantity of both military and financial aid. NATO, under the direction of the US, has recklessly aided Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
Subsequently it has been revealed that in return for the help provided, the majority of Ukraine’s gold and foreign exchange reserves have been looted by the West. The political elites in Washington DC, and Brussels have not gone empty-handed from this carefully orchestrated conflict.
In July 2022, Reuters reported that since the war began in February, Ukraine has sold gold worth US$12.4 billion. According to the deputy governor of Ukraine’s national bank, selling gold was vital to keep the nation operating. He declared, “We are selling (this gold) so that our importers are able to buy necessary goods for the country”.
However, it was not immediately known to whom the gold was being sold. But now the facts are out in the open. It’s Biden’s US that has plundered all of Ukraine’s gold wealth.
Gold is essential to a country’s sovereignty. Biden carefully exploited former comedian Volodymyr Zelensky to his use, used him as a pawn in the war and stripped Ukraine of its gold while also stuffing Zelensky’s pockets with dirty cash at the same time.
Transparency International’s corruption index places Ukraine at the bottom third. So, poor Ukrainians actually never received the aid and essentials Zelensky sold Ukraine’s gold for.
In July 2022 Reuters reported Ukraine sold gold worth US$12.4 billion since the start of the war in February. He said, “We are selling (this gold) so that our importers are able to buy necessary goods for the country”.
Although Schiffgold website said, the National Bank of Ukraine (UNB) held about 27 tons of gold in its reserves valued at around US$1.6 billion when the war began, wherefrom Volodymyr Zelensky got gold worth US$12.4 billion?
It may be mentioned here that Ukraine sits over gold reserves of more than 3,000 tons, although a Mining World report claimed that the country had only a few operating mines before the war. Let us just calculate the possible value of 3,000 tons of gold. It shall stand at hundreds of billions of dollars. And unfortunate news for the Ukrainians is – Joe Biden controls almost every ounce of gold in Ukraine. Following the fall of Kiev or Zelensky’s fleeing the country, Americans will exert pressure on Ukrainians in handing-over the last ounce of gold in exchange for repaying the debt that would bear an exorbitant interest rate – possibly ranging between 50-500 percent.
And – it is a well-documented fact – Volodymyr Zelensky and his inner circle – including Zelensky’s wife — have had their own network of offshore companies, where they are secretly draining-out hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to Pandora Papers, Zelensky and his partners in a television production company, Kvartal 95, set up a network of offshore firms dating back to at least 2012, the year the company began making regular content for TV stations owned by Ihor Kolomoisky, an oligarch dogged by allegations of multi-billion-dollar fraud. The offshores were also used by Zelensky associates to purchase and own three prime properties in the center of London.
The documents also show that just before he was elected, he gifted his stake in a key offshore company, the British Virgin Islands-registered Maltex Multicapital Corp., to his business partner — soon to be his top presidential aide. And in spite of giving up his shares, the documents show that an arrangement was soon made that would allow the offshore to keep paying dividends to a company that now belongs to his wife.
According to a July 2023 survey, 78 percent of Ukrainian people believe that Volodymyr Zelensky is directly responsible for corruption in the government and military administration. And for Zelensky and his cronies, extreme indulgence in corruption and continuing rampant loot of public wealth turns much easier and convenient under the current martial law, as no one can challenge Zelensky or his neo-Nazi cohorts. One of the key reasons for Zelensky in not agreeing to resolving the conflict through dialogue with Russia is fear of ending-up in prison for the rest of life, once martial law is lifted and an elected government returns to power. Moreover, Biden won’t let Zelensky end the war until America turns Ukraine into a bankrupt nation. For these facts – Ukrainian masses also need to understand how they are being deceived and screwed by a corrupt Zelensky and his neo-Nazi cohorts. Only defeat of Western warmongers in Ukraine and establishment of alternative world order can save Ukrainians from the evil captivity of Zelensky and his Western masters.
