Extremists of all varieties have exploited the October 7 Hamas pogrom in Israel to go on the offensive — from Islamic State (ISIS) and Al Qaeda to Lebanese Hezbollah and the Iranian Quds Force, to violent Palestinians and Islamists monsters around the world, threatening to unleash new epidemics of carnage even worse than the appalling bloodshed we have witnessed to date. Meanwhile, a section of Israel and Jew-hating Muslim nations have openly expressed solidarity with Hamas and Palestinian terrorists by unjustly condemning Israel and the United States for launching anti-terror offensives against the terrorists in Gaza. Most alarming fact here is American ambassador in Bangladesh, Peter D. Haas has joined this notoriously anti-Semite and anti-Israel propaganda by flying country’s flag at half-staff – thus openly demonizing Israel and mourning death of Palestinian terrorists Hamas.
According to media reports, US embassy did this “in solidarity with Bangladesh’s one-day state mourning over the deaths of Palestinians in Israeli attacks”. This made every anti-Semite and Israel/Jew-hating media in Bangladesh extremely delighted.
It may be mentioned here that, US Embassy in Dhaka did not mourn the death of over 1,400 Israelis during October 7 Hamas pogrom. Even in its October 20 press release, it did not condemn Hamas pogrom and abduction of Israeli, American and foreign nationals.
Following the 10/7 Hamas pogrom, Al Qaeda jubilantly described Hamas’s mass murder of Israeli pensioners, women and children as “the jewel of all Islamic battles of our modern history”, implying that it was of greater significance than 9/11 in the jihadist pantheon.
Islamic State’s Al-Naba newspaper demanded the targeting of Jewish people and places of worship “all over the world,” and attacks on Israeli and Western embassies. Alongside images of bereaved orphans and body-strewn Gaza ruins, shadowy Telegram channels provide QR codes for Bitcoin donations to the global terrorist cause. In the UK in particular and the rest of the European nations, mosques have been collecting donations for Hamas and Palestinian terrorists while some of the Muslims have expressed willingness to join “Palestinian’s jihad against enemies of Allah”. They even have expressed willingness of joining suicide attacks in Britain and other EU nations targeting Jewish people and places of worship, alongside Jewish homes and business establishment. Security and law enforcing agencies in the United Kingdom are in total darkness about such dangerous terrorist plots as they are not allowed to enter mosques. Even agents or sources appointed by UK intelligence and counterterrorism agencies are playing opposite roles by concealing such dangerous activities.
Meanwhile, pro-Israel stand of Joe Biden, Rishi Sunak and Ursula von der Leyen are portrayed by Hamas Palestinian terrorists and global network of jihadist groups and individuals as “conspiracy against Islam” or “crusader’s war against Muslim world” and calling upon Muslims to join jihad against these “infidel nations”. While such cruel jihadist and terrorist propaganda alongside huge rallies are taking place in the western countries, there is no action taken against these celebrants of dead Jews and Israelis. Instead, some senseless leaders in the West, including Canada’s Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly are repeatedly calling for aid to “dire humanitarian situation in Gaza” and “need for rapid and unimpeded humanitarian access”, despite the fact, more than 73 percent of Gazans are directly or indirectly affiliated with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other terrorist entities. Unfortunately, US President Joe Biden is also calling for sending aid to Gaza while he is not strongly demanding immediate release of hostages.
Meanwhile, Iranian proxies are also exploiting Gaza tensions to escalate attacks against Western targets in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere. According to counterterrorism experts, Tehran-backed militias have relocated to Israel-Syria-Lebanon border areas and are said to have established a transnational joint operations room overseen by Quds Force officers for coordinating with Hamas. Among senior Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi leaders sighted at the Lebanon border are Kata’ib Sayyid Al-Shuhada commander Abu Ala Al-Walai. Consequently, pro-Tehran factions have exploited their posture in Syria’s Golan region with the goal of widening out the northern front against Israel.
Meanwhile critics say, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shall not succeed in eliminating Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza as he would soon feel pressure from Joe Biden for a ceasefire, thus granting newer life to Hamas in particular. This notion is being aggressively promoted by Muslim and Western media, who want Israel to remain under constant threat from Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza.
For the sake of Israel’s national security, it is essential that Israel Defense Forces intensify its attacks in Gaza and if necessary, turn the entire city into rubble. Hamas and Palestinian terrorists must be defeated and annihilated. At the same time, the Biden administration, if they are genuinely against Palestinian terrorism, should consider imposing sanctions on those nations which are extending support to Hamas and Palestinian terrorism and indulging into demonizing Israel and Jews.
