Bihar: Property dealer Ashutosh Shahi and his private guard killed in Muzaffarpur, three injured

Ashutosh Shahi, a property dealer from Muzaffarpur in Bihar, was shot dead by miscreants on Friday night. He had come to meet his advocate Syed Kasim Hussain Dowler at Chandwara Lakdi Dahi in the city. Four miscreants who came on two bikes barged into the advocate’s house and carried out the incident. Ashutosh died on the spot, while the advocate was shot in the leg. At the same time, Ashutosh’s personal guard standing at the gate tried to stop the miscreants, then the miscreants fired at him as well. One guard died in the hospital, while two are undergoing treatment.

The incident took place at around 10 pm. The people around were in their homes, when the bike-riding youths reached there and started a ruckus. They were trying to go inside the house while abusing. When Ashutosh Shahi’s personal guard standing at the gate tried to stop him, the miscreants got entangled with him and started firing. A guard was shot on the road just in front of the gate. After this, two other guards ran inside, then the miscreants chased them and shot them. Meanwhile, a miscreant abusing said that he is inside, kill him first. Due to continuous firing, the people around were watching the scene from the window of the houses, but no one had the courage to come out.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot. All the three guards including the injured advocate were sent to the hospital, where after some time one guard was declared dead by the doctor. City SP and other police officers reached the spot and investigated the incident. The police have also recovered a hollow from the scene of the incident. At the same time, the police also raided many places in search of criminals till late night.
