In Bihar’s West Champaran district, now after leaving the forest of Valmiki Tiger Reserve, the movement of wildlife has become a common thing in the residential area. Due to the arrival of animals like leopard, crocodile and snake in the residential area, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people. However, taking precautions by the Forest Department personnel, these animals are being rescued and released back into the forest or river.

12 feet long python reached the village

Locals were horrified when a 12-feet long python came out of the forest of Valmiki Tiger Reserve and came to Manguraha village. After getting the information about the python crawling here and there in the village, the local people immediately informed the forest office. On reaching the spot, the members of a rescue team rescued the python. Most of the people hid inside the house out of fear after hearing about the huge snake. In the midst of fear, the villagers immediately contacted the local forest department. He assured help. Then the forest workers who arrived from the forest office caught him. In this regard, Ranger Vijay Prasad of Ramnagar Forest Office told that a python was rescued from Manguraha. Then he has been given free access to the protected area of ​​VTR forest.

Forest personnel rescue python from residential area

Here, the team of forest personnel of Madanpur forest area has rescued a python from Mangalpur on the information of the villagers. Giving information about this, Forest Guard Gaurishankar Dubey of Rampur Forest Complex said that on Friday, information was received by the villagers that a huge python had arrived in Mangalpur. Taking the information seriously, the snake was rescued after reaching the spot with a team of forest personnel. The said snake was about seven feet long. Which was left safely in the protected forest of VTR.

A giant python made a pet duck its victim after entering Rohit Kumar’s house near the airport adjacent to VTR forest division two Valmiki Nagar forest area. On information, the forest personnel rescued the python safely and left it in the forest area. It should be known that even the wild animals have to bear the brunt of the scorching heat. Distressed by the heat, wildlife are moving towards residential areas. In this regard, Valmikinagar Ranger Awadhesh Prasad Singh told that further action will be taken on application with evidence. There is an appeal to the villagers to be alert and aware.

Crocodile rescued from Pokhara

On Friday, a team of forest personnel of Madanpur forest area rescued a crocodile from Mangalpur-Ausani reach Pokhara under Block Bagaha Do after a lot of effort. It is worth noting that crocodiles coming out of the forest areas of VTR are coming out of the hill rivers and Gandak river and reaching the ponds of residential areas. Because of which the fish thrown in Pokhara are becoming the food of these crocodiles. Due to which the Pokhara owners are facing huge difficulties. In this context, Awadhesh Prasad, the ranger in-charge of Madanpur forest range, said that it was reported by the villagers that a crocodile shelter has been built in Mangalpur Ausani Pokhara and it is making fish a morsel. On the basis of the information, a team of forest personnel was sent to the spot under the leadership of Gaurishankar Dubey, Forest Guard of Rampur Forest Complex. By whom the crocodile camping in Pokhara was rescued and left safely in the Gandak river.

Leopard hunted two goats, panic among villagers

After coming out of Valmiki Tiger Reserve Forest Division 2, an adult leopard reached the cattle shed of Lagan Mukhiya, a resident of Thandhi village and wanted to target the baby buffalo. But when the herdsman raised an alarm, the leopard ran away to the other side and made a goat its prey from Samsul Miyan’s animal bath near the bathan. On making noise, the leopard managed to escape along with the goat. There is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers due to the constant movement of leopards near the cattle shed. The villagers are forced to do Ratjaga to protect the lives and property of their animals. On the same information, the forest worker closely examined the pug mark of the leopard and told that by looking at this pug mark, it can be guessed that the leopard is an adult.
