Vat Savitri Vrat 2023: According to the Hindu calendar, Vat Savitri fast is observed every year on the new moon day of Jyestha month. This year Vat Savitri Vrat is on 19th May. On this day, auspicious coincidence of Amavasya and Shani Jayanti is also taking place.
On this day women worship the banyan tree, circumambulate it and tie kalava around it. It is believed that by observing this fast with full devotion, the long life of the husband and the birth of a child are fruitful. After cleaning the house in the morning, after retiring from daily work, take a bath.

Install the idol of Brahma by filling seven grains in a bamboo basket.
Install the idol of Savitri in the left part of Brahma.
Establish idols of Satyavan and Savitri in one and the other basket. these baskets
