Surat: 4918 candidates registered for UPSC exam in the city

Surat city has also been allotted exam center for the third consecutive year in the UPSC Prelims exam to be held on May 28 across the country and this year 4918 students are appearing in 16 centers. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. For which preparations are going on.

Every year the UPSC exam is conducted by the Central Government to become District Collector, Police Commissioner to Class I Officer. This exam is conducted in various cities across the country. Meanwhile, after allotting a center to the city of Surat to conduct the UPSC exam in 2021 in the time of Covid, the exam will be conducted in the city of Surat for the third consecutive year.

For this, out of all the candidates who are giving the exam, 4918 have chosen Surat center. Therefore, arrangements have been made for these candidates to sit at different 16 centers in Surat city. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first session will run from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and the second session will run from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. All these examinations will also be conducted under strict police presence. For this, preparations are going on in the administration.
